Repeat after me: Marxists are not hypocrites.

Power is not a means; it is an end.

One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.

The object of persecution is persecution.

The object of torture is torture.

The object of power is power.

It is wrong to call Buy Large Mansions! leader Patrice Cullors a "fraud."

I understand the compulsion, but the barest read of history demonstrates that Marxists are impervious to allegations of hypocrisy.

Marxism is simply a method of power acquisition that drapes itself in the finery of social uplift for the masses. It sets forth principles--and then proceeds to ruthlessly dispense with them and those who hold them.

It has done so from the beginning. All that matters is what the party decides. And when the party line changes, so do the party members. Or else.

Marxism always reaches a "two legs better" equilibrium, with former revolutionaries living in the dachas of the murdered or exiled nobility.

Sure, there are always true believers who get betrayed--and when they're lucky, they live to warn others of the true nature of the beast.

But in the final analysis, Marxism always takes on the features of that which it claimed to oppose--but in reality, merely envied.

From the historical record, I'd say that Ms. Cullors is actually a superb Marxist who knows how to follow the well-trodden path.

  1. Not to rain on the parade, but capitalists are no different. Like marxists, they want to put fingers on scales to tip the balance in their favor. You are describing the human condition, not a flaw of a particular ideology.

  3. Hardly. Just an observer of the human condition. People misbehave. Marxist dictators are bad. If I said that too loud, I'd just be a dittohead here. I'm just pointing out that in politics and economics there are lots of hypocrites. It's a bug of fallen humanity, not of ideologies we dislike.

  4. I'm sure you have nice Marxist friends. We all have friends we make excuses for.

  5. That, and its not safe for the ol' social credit score to agree with the heterodox.

Understandable, honestly--even calling for due process can get people fired these days.

  6. LOL Todd is so programmed for the "no u" response he has to outright make up lies to try and cover the most murderous, bloody ideology in human history.

Way to keep living down the NPC stereotype, dude. *cheers* Try to make your next whataboutism better. Maybe go to the actual sources instead of the strawmen your programmers make of it.

    1. Once someone makes it about the person rather than the notion that hypocrisy is a human feature, you have conceded the field. Better luck next time, Nate, with convincing the fence-sitters.

Your and Dale's only problem with my comment is that I'm insufficiently negative in your narrow scope. I disagree with Dale's headline here. Many marxists can be and are hypocrites. But many other human factions take on the qualities they once opposed. It's not about whataboutism, it's about recognizing human sin. That's all human sin, not just someone else's.

Sorry, but recognizing that allows a person to graduate from the ideological soapbox to the Christian view. It blunts the accusatory nature of modern argument.

And besides, y'all are just sore about it.

    2. Oh making it about the person... just like you've done on your blog as I saw, eh? So I guess you've conceded the field on climate change or whatever it's called now, eh?

Hilarious how you make up the rules as you go along. Funny how in other posts on this blog you're suddenly not about "recognizing human sin" but bringing up all the particular sins whites are guilty of. Why it's almost like you want that ideological soapbox when it's in your interest, and only interested in the "Christian view" when your side is pricked.

As CS Lewis pointed out: God is not a "convenience" for you to use at your leisure. If you want to preach on human hypocrisy, remove the forest from your own eyes.

    3. Do you have a specific critique in mind? I have no idea what you're talking about. I also have no problem commenting on a single person's bad ideas. I don't need to call them liars. I stick to the critique of their quotes.

I no longer recognize you as a potential influence, Nate. I would have welcomed your friendship at one point. Now, I simply don't find you trustworthy. Just another internet ideologue.

    4. Oh I see, when YOU do it it's "critiquing bad ideas" but when others do it it's, "forfeiting" or something. *rolls eyes* How flexible we can be when trying to hide from our hypocrisy.

"They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.” -CS Lewis

That really is the worst of it. That you are unaware of just how little you know about how useful you are to the cause of evil. "This time, we'll get it right" you honestly believe (even as the streets start turning red...)

Also, nice touch on the "friendship" bit. Quite on script for the standard SJW night letters.

I mean... being honest here? I'd rather have an real foe, than a fake "friend." Just, TRY thinking for yourself, Todd. Don't go by the script, don't give the standard answer, just try being your own person for once. Then you might at least earn some respect.

  7. Sore? Nah. Whataboutism is just the left's "All Lives Matter" deflection when it comes to this particular sinful legacy.

Nothing remotely Christian about refusing to acknowledge the unique and enduring structural sinfulness of Marxism. But that will never stop you, thanks for the cautionary example.

  8. I find your outrage on whataboutism to be rather thin, my friend, posting something about a black woman fleeing to the burbs on the Chauvin-to-jury day. #BLM, bruh
