The dangers of "incitement," the importance of civility and moderating one's rhetoric, etc.?
It certainly bought the New York Times a spot of bother.
In the meantime, the green water of anti-police rhetoric sloshing over the decks of the ship of state increases by the day.
Did it play a role in the murder of Wayne County Sheriff Corporal Bryant Searcy?
Or is it instead just another example of our grim national homicide spree?
We may never know, but maybe the money-losing subsidiaries of large multinationals we call "the press" will call for a national conversation on the topic?
More constructively: the Officer Collin Rose Memorial Foundation is taking donations for Corporal Searcy's widow and daughter.
May he rest in peace and his friends and family be comforted.

Be reasonably civil. Ire alloyed with reason is fine. But slagging the host gets you the banhammer.
