I'm hashing it out with a couple of ex-Catholics, one rather decent, the other an ignoramus whose argument skills were honed on a Catholic elementary playground. And atrophied quickly thereafter.
But he has the proverbial "12 years of Catholic school," so I'm supposed to wonder how he never made the shortlist for Doctor of the Church before he unpoped.
