ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite movies. I used to watch it and Evil Dead II whenever I could. I used to enjoy watching one of them in a double feature with Man for All Seasons.

My brush with fame: I had Dr. Bill Vincent as my humanities professor at MSU. He just happened to be Sam Raimi's favorite film professor.
ReplyDeleteSo, I got to be taught all year by the voice from the tape in 'Evil Dead II'. You know, the one saying "I can't translate it yet, but the phonetic reading of the inscription is..." :)
(Apparently, he was supposed to be in the film, but had a conflict with a teaching sabbatical in London. Some people just have all the luck.)
