Streep v. Washington on WWJD? And what would George Lucas do?
CT's movie page has some interesting links today, including to this argument between Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington on the Today Show.
Also fascinating is George Lucas' homage to Orwell, deleting and replacing an actor from a climactic scene in the Return of the Jedi DVD (scroll down):
New Star Wars title announced (CNN)It's called Revenge of the Sith. But why bother to see the film when it opens, since we know it will eventually be revised, with Lucas going so far as to replace the actors? I'm not kidding. That's exactly what he's doing with the original Star Wars films. Here's a clip from the conclusion of the upcoming DVD release of Return of the Jedi, in which Sebastian Shaw has been deleted and replaced by Hayden Christensen.
