Something about consistency and hobgoblins.

In his devastating review of Debt of Honor by Tom Clancy, Christopher Buckley gave the technothriller author "credit" for managing to find the sheep-hunting metaphor in retinal surgery.

Likewise, I have to give Andrew Sullivan similar credit--only he could find the pro-gay marriage argument in the Terri Schiavo battle.
