Kudos to the Archdiocese of Detroit.
Yes, you read that right. The Archdiocese hosted its first-ever Men's Conference yesterday, and yours truly attended (along with 800 other Catholic men). One of my complaints about life as a Catholic is the lack of ministries for men. Now, at least in part, it's been answered.
Superb, superb job, professionally presented. Chuck Colson was the keynote speaker, and the experience was magnificent.
How important was this regarded by Archdiocese? It closed with a Mass celebrated by Adam Cardinal Maida. Great signal.
More details later as time permits.
