ReplyDeleteThe shareholder class consists mostly of (1) pension funds, (2) institutional endowments, and (3) random wealthy people whose influence begins and ends with being able to get you a job interview at some company they've worked at, some professional practice they've worked at, or some philanthropic concern on whose board they've served. Someone like Bill Gates mother as she was ca. 1980 is not anyone's problem. The problem people are the management of these companies.
What Art said. Hurt the shareholders all you want - just know you're hitting a lot of pensioners and people living on a fixed income as you do so.
