ReplyDeleteYeah, following the Vice suggestion to screw with the lore in the name of wokeness would destroy the game. More diverse depictions of the members of the Imperium is fine--but it also runs against the grain of trying to make the Imperium and especially the Marines villains.
ReplyDeleteThe Imperium is a bad place...but what it faces is mostly worse. The idea that the Imperial players should be forced to embrace villain status is...as stupid as woke infections of gaming usually are.
It would be a great if for an april's fools day joke they did a complete flip the script and had a "Happy fun future!" warhammer.
DeleteWe'll call it... WinHugger. Everybody's just so happy and friendly. Greeting Marines run out onto the battlefield to provide hugs to strangers - because strangers are just a friend you haven't met yet. Instead of "blood for the blood god" you got "tea for the tea god" perhaps.
Paint all the figures bright pinks and pastel colors. Just full MLP:FiM it up.
There is the maniac who painted up the Lovecrons...
