I'm wondering how long it will be before they decide to take down the statue of Walt. After all, if Song of the South and Dumbo are so racist and evil, why give a pass to the man who decided to make those movies? Or, from my perspective, why blame him for Malificent, Cruella, or what The Mouse has done to Star Wars?
ReplyDeleteThey'll take it down. People with actual accomplishments who built something from scratch are an anathema to these carrion-eaters and a threat to their amour propre.
DeleteNot sure why disclaimers are a problem. Some parents may want the info to make their own decision. It's not as though the screens are going blank during the "offending" portion. Why not admit sexism and racism are bad sinful things and move on?

Maybe because lectures about racism and sexism coming from a multibillion dollar corporation that cuddles up to a China engaging in the rape and murder of Uighurs are unutterable bullshit?
